Mentoring for Marketers

There are lots of opportunities to support a young person who’s trying to advance their Marketing career.

If you’re an experienced Marketing professional check out the different options below. If you’re unsure which is best for you, get in touch and I’ll happily help point you in the right direction.

The ones listed below are those I’ve been involved in – most of which are in the South West of the UK. If you know any others, let me know!

Digital Marketing Bootcamp

UWE

UWE (The University of the West of England) run a Digital Marketing Bootcamp a few times a year. It’s a fully funded 11 week course (1 day per week) and they are always on the lookout for Mentors to support the young people on the course. [More information here].

Working Knowledge provide Marketing Apprenticeships for young people across the UK. They are always looking for experienced Marketers to share different skills and knowledge with the current batch of apprentices. [See more and get in touch here].

Babbasa are a charity in Bristol who support yound people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Their EOA network is a group of like-minded and values-driven professionals helping to create a more inclusive society by supporting ethnic minority and low-income young people. [Read more here].

Bristol Creative Industries have started running an internship programme (work placements & training) to support some of the region’s most underrepresented young people.
